ASTM A403 WP316L Fittings are used in various environmentally friendly applications where the corrosion of the fittings is low. YUHONG is a leading supplier of the different types such as the A403 WP316L Reducer which is one of the most used types. The ASTM A403 gr WP316L is a lower carbon version of the 316 material. So the carbide precipitation while welding is less. This avoids localized corrosion after welding.
For these reasons, the Stainless Steel 316L Pipe Fittings are preferred for sea water, marine and other high corrosive applications. The fittings can range in shapes, size and types. There are different standards such as the ASTM B16.9 and others which govern the dimensions of the 316L SS Weld Fittings.

The ss 316L reducer is a pipe fitting that reduces the pipe line’s diameter. The reducer can be of different types. There are eccentric reducers which have the reduced end aligned with the side of the pipe line.
The concentric reducer reduces the diameter in alignment with the axis of flow. Depending on the need, the different types of SS 316l buttweld pipe fittings can be used. The applications range from domestic water supply to oil and gas industrial applications.

The ASTM A403 WP316L grade is a wrought carbon grade that possesses excellent toughness and offers higher creep and stress rupture properties. The versatile ASTM A403 Gr WP316L components work well in high as well as in cryogenic temperatures. They possess resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. ASTM A 403 WP 316L is very durable across acidic and chemical toxicants.
The grade has a specific thermal capacity of 500 at 20°C J/kg K. The robust A403 WP316L module has a minimum tensile strength of 485mpa with a minimum yield strength of 170mpa and can be elongated by 40% in the system. The SA 403 WP 316L is a pressurized vessel grade that works well in extreme pressure and temperatures in stress-induced conditions.
